Headquartered in the U.S., the company operates multiple state-of-the-art facilities specializing in fermentation, flavor creation, cold brew extraction, and advanced drying and blending technologies. With a long-standing legacy in clean label innovation, the organization delivers flavor, performance, and protection systems that enhance taste, functionality, and shelf life across beverage, protein, and food manufacturing categories.
This is a remote, customer-facing role focused on new business development and account growth across protein and ingredient markets. The position represents a diverse portfolio including natural meat cures, antioxidants, antimicrobials, and texture enhancement systems.
In this role, you will:
- Build and manage a pipeline to achieve growth targets within the Performance and Protection portfolio
- Develop territory plans and account strategies that meet or exceed annual revenue goals
- Cultivate and expand relationships with protein manufacturers, ingredient buyers, and food processors
- Partner with marketing, technical services, and innovation to deliver tailored solutions
- Translate customer briefs into development requests and coordinate cross-functional execution
- Resolve customer issues quickly and maintain high service levels
- Maintain accurate forecasts, activity reports, and CRM records
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Food Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in flavors, ingredients, or protein manufacturing sales
- Consultative, technically minded approach with strong commercial discipline
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency with CRM and sales reporting tools
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across all levels
- Analytical problem solver who thrives in a fast, collaborative, and entrepreneurial culture
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent
