Dir Sales - Northeast US Closed

Do you have a passion for winning and motivating your team to
achieve success? Our client, a privately held, global seafood
leader is looking for a Director of Sales to lead profitable
sales growth in the northeast region of the United States across
all sales channels including Retail, Wholesale, Food Service, and
Distribution. Their success is driven by a highly skilled and
innovative management team, and their dedicated employees
contributing to their sense of community.

Reporting to the Vice President Sales, North America, this role
will have full responsibility for delivering company sales
objectives, including volume and pricing goals. Great opportunity
to lead customer strategy development, customer selection, and
sales execution across this critical region.

Some qualifications include:

* 10 years’ experience in a multi-channel, sales leadership role
in seafood, protein, or other fresh food.
* Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a team of sales
professionals across retail, food service, and distribution
channels and solid understanding of the channel dynamics.
* Experience identifying new strategic customers in all channels,
further solidifying relationships with existing strategic
customers, and focusing on “value added” expansion (branded and
private label).
* Strong and dynamic sales leadership skills; excellent
influencing and negotiation skills.
* Hunter’s mentality and a strong desire to win.

* Must be able to travel extensively to meet customers and be the
face of the brand in the region.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business (MBA preferred).
