Director, Maintenance and Engineering

Are you a collaborative leader that demonstrates accuracy and
financial accountability while looking for ways to improve and
promote quality? Our client, a privately-owned, vertically
integrated, pork manufacturer, is looking for a strategic thinker
and decision maker who can manage a multi-million dollar annual
spend. This highly visible role will report to a straightforward
and hands-on VP and will participate in the annual budgeting
process.

We are looking for a credible Director with strong acuity in
Maintenance. This position will further develop a
well-established team and advise senior management on industry
trends, issues, and potential opportunities. This is a chance to
be hands-on with team development and lead the maintenance team
to ensure high performance of completing deliverables.

Keys to success in this role:

• Responsible for the planning, execution, and financial
accountability of the company’s repair, maintenance, and
construction programs designed to meet the short-term and
long-term strategic objectives of the company.

• Develop an asset management plan that ensures the longevity
and functionality of company-owned assets.

• 8-12 years of progressive asset management experience.

• Provides cost estimates, prepares budgets, and can manage
projects within budget.

• Multi-site management experience is required.

• Requires an extremely elevated level of planning, coordination,
and communication with internal and external business partners
across six states.

• Highly collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Understanding of integrated animal production business is
strongly preferred.

• Engineering, electric, maintenance, or construction background
preferred.
