Our client, a privately held, global seafood company known for
responsible harvesting and sustainable processes, is looking for
an entrepreneurial Sales Manager for fresh salmon, and whole fish
sales into foodservice and retail sectors. Key responsibilities
include identifying and targeting potential customers and
building relationships with new and existing accounts while
achieving sales and revenue growth objectives.

This person will actively manage the business, meeting regularly
with CEOs of distributors, large independent markets, and other
end users. Work closely with various stakeholders, including
production planning, processing plants, warehousing facilities,
and logistics, ensuring that customer needs are met. Reporting to
the Director of Sales, this is a great opportunity to be a key
part of the sales team and impact the growth of the company!  

Some qualifications include: 

* 3 – 5 years of sales experience in seafood, protein, or other
fresh foods. 
* Proven ability to grow new business and deepen existing
relationships while focusing on pipeline, sales execution, and
new revenue opportunities. 
* Deep understanding of customers to target needs and drive
sales; ability to create productive, long-term customer
relationships. 
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; flexible team
player with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on
approach. 
* Experience calling on/selling to regional chain customers,
retail, foodservice or distributors.
* Ability to analyze critical processes and lead continuous
improvement initiatives.
* Bachelor’s degree in business or other related discipline
preferred.
