Director of R&D, Chocolate
Our client, a global leader in chocolate, and ingredients, is
looking for a Director of R&D to oversee their Center of
Excellence for the chocolate division! In this role you will have
the opportunity to create a US taste profile, build a chocolate
library, and assist in the building of a new Center of Excellence
R&D facility. This role will focus new product development, cost
savings, and will have the chance to travel to Italy to learn
from industry leaders!
This is a unique opportunity to pioneer the expansion of their
core product portfolio, work closely with high profile clients
and join this growing organization!
· 8+ years in food science, preferred expertise in Cocoa &
Chocolate
· In-depth knowledge of chocolate processing, flavor
profiles, and ingredient functionalities.
· Strong project management skills and the ability to lead
cross-functional teams.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to travel up to 25%.
· Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Food Science, Chemistry,
or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
